Covered

物理上指表面被遮住(snow-covered);事件语境指“涉及、包含”(the topic is covered);保险里表示“在保障范围内”(Are we covered?)。

  1. “The field was covered in white blossoms after the rain.”
  2. “Make sure your laptop is covered against theft when you travel.”
  3. “She was covered with mud after the hike.”

口语 “I’ve got you covered” 表示“我来搞定、你不用操心”。

  • 固定搭配: “covered in” (满是……), “covered with” (覆盖着……), “fully covered” (全额保障)

“The picnic table was covered with a cloth to keep the sandwiches clean.”
