Annoyed

常见搭配 be annoyed with sb、be annoyed at/about sth。

  1. “She was annoyed with him for forgetting her birthday.”
  2. “I get annoyed when people talk loudly on the train.”
  3. “He sounded annoyed but still answered calmly.”

Annoy 源自古法语 anoier(烦扰),与拉丁语 in odio(令人厌恶)有关。

  • 固定搭配: “annoyed with someone” (对某人生气), “annoyed about something” (为某事心烦)

“Mia was annoyed by the dripping tap, so she tightened the washer herself.”
